Scrollbar hosts the official weekly Fredagsbar (Friday Bar) of IT University of Copenhagen. In November, we made a portal bar; after that we needed a little break to come up with new ideas. On the 27th of March, Mike (ed.) anchored the bar with a Nippon / Anime theme. Chrono Trigger had been released a couple of months before, so this theme bar was a perfect setting to introduce some Chrono Trigger drinks. As it was an Anime Theme bar, anime was shown on the projector in the bar. Later on, there was held a Cosplay competition and Karaoke.

We pooled our vast knowledge of mixing and alcohols (this is Denmark, after all) to craft twelve unique Chrono Trigger-theme drinks.

The most popular ones were Gato and the 65,000,000 BC. But all our recipes were very well-received. We encourage you to give them a try - but please credit us if you do!

Also Mike made some enhancement to some of the Final Fantasy drinks. Check it out!!

(Note: "cl" stands for centiliter. Two cl approximately equals one "shot")

Frog

Glass:
Chilled Martini Glass

Garnish:
2 Lime Wedges

Shaken

• 2 cl Bols Lychee
• 1 cl Bols Peach
• 1 cl Xante Pear Cognac
• 2 cl Gin
• 3 cl Vodka
• A pinch of Wasabi

Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and fine strain into Cocktail glass.

• 2 cl Sake
• 2 cl Soutern Comfort
• 2 cl Xante
• 4 cl Vodka
• 1 cl Lime Juice

Directions:
Shake all ingredients with ice and pour into Highball Glass.

2 lime wedges in drink

• 1/4 cl Monin Green Banana
• 1/4 cl Monin Grenadine
• 2 cl Aplle Juice
• 2 cl Cranberry Juice
• Top up with Sprite

Directions:
Shake first four ingredients with ice and pour into ice-filled Highball Glass. Top up with Sprite.

• top up with Ginger Ale

Directions:
Shake the first three ingredients with ice and pour into ice-filled Rocks Glass. Top up with Ginger Ale.

Directions:
Shake all ingredients and pour into a ice filled Rocks Glass.

Garnish:
lime wedges and a lychee

• 2 cl Monin WaterMelon
• 5 cl Sake
• 2 cl Club soda
• 2 cl White Rum
• 3 cl tinned Lychee juice
• mint

Directions:

Muddle mint in the glass. Add WaterMelon sirup and Sake. Add crushed ice. Add the rest of the ingredients and stir.

• 2 cl Baileys

• top up with Ginger Ale

Directions:

Shake first six ingredients. Pour into Highball Glass. To get this creepy look to the drink, shake a spray the Ginger Ale into the glass.

Decorations

There was not much decoration this time. Posters of different Animes were hung around the bar and lots of Anime were shown. The Cosplay competition was a succes and everyone had a lot of fun singing Karaoke: both English and Japanese anime songs :D
